  1. I enjoyed reading the book "Sable Island: The Wandering Sandbar" more than I thought I would, because when I looked through the pages, it seemed really short. It was, but the content made up for that. I thought the book was well-written, detailed and clear. This book provided me with a lot more information on Sable Island, and along with the pictures and diagrams to support the text, I thought this created a great book. However, sometimes I felt that the book mentioned magic a lot (i. e. no, it isn't magical,), about three or four times which, in my opinion, is too many. It seemed like the author was rubbing it in. I might have bias against this book when I say this (I am not usually a reader of non-fiction), but sometimes the paragraphs didn't flow, the sentences seemed like an uninteresting documentary. Nevertheless, I really enjoyed the book and would definitely recommend it to others.

  2. I didn't really like the book Sable Islands because it was very short and a lot was jammed on to one page and it was not the genre of book so I found it really boring. Also it was good information and I learned some things about the island.
