  1. I enjoyed reading this book, especially about the dead kids (Cyril, Morna, Tabetha, Kirby and Derek), and their pasts. I thought that some parts of the book were very funny, my favourite was when Cyril, from the 1770s, drives a car for the first time. Although I thought this was a really good book, it was kind of following the same plot as some other books that I know, basically: Girl is new to school, gets teased, someone she knows dies (in this case, Mr. O'Shea), tries to solve mystery around death, discovers secret. In my opinion, the book was very unoriginal in that way, but the way it was written separates it. Lastly, I thought that when talking about Henri LaFleur supplying the timer for the FLQ's bomb, at the end of the book, when everyone is reflecting on Mr. O'Shea, the author failed to mention that he did not know that he was supplying it, so that painted a lot more guilt than it should have on him, which was, for me, very confusing.

    1. I know!!! I'm really excited for it, October must have discovered a new mystery with her dead friends. I'm predicting it's about how one of the dead kids died since at the ending she said she couldn't wait to see them and help them solve their mysteries. :)

  3. So far, I am having a hard time getting into the story. I have read the first few pages of the book and I am not yet engaged by the plot. I have stopped reading the book. Isabeau, you have shared a lot of interesting details above. So, I am thinking about giving the book another shot once I am done reading the one I now have.

  4. I really enjoyed this book because of the very interesting and mysterious plot. I thought that the beginning needed more detail although as I read the book more, I couldn't stop reading the book. Also, when I was reading the clues, I could figure out what they meant along the way, the book stating a few sentences after what I had discovereed. :D

  5. I didn't really enjoy the book because it was dull boring at the beginning. The plot together was alright, and some of the paragraphs were funny, but since the book was boring I therefore give it a 7. The ways that the book could have pleased me more are if the book was more eventful in the first two chapters and if the plot was a bit more exciting.
