  1. I really enjoyed reading this book because it was funny but managed to sum up explorations without seeming tedious. I especially liked the maps used to show routes, and the "report cards" and "pop quizzes" made the book seem relaxed and more kid-friendly. Despite this, I thought the maps were complicated and I couldn't really just glance over them, I had to examine some before I could understand the route. I was also glad that this book gave a different view of explorers I did and didn't know much about, although there could have been slightly more detail. The heading also made the book easier to process, but something that set me back was when the author introduced information too early. Lastly, the lack of a timeline influenced how I understood the explorer's decisions. In conclusion, I would recommend this book to most people, with the exception of those who don't process information as they read it (basically, need a little time to think it over).

I really enjoyed reading this book because it is really funny because it tells about what the vikings did and what they were good at doing and what they were bad at doing. And most of the stuff they were bad at doing. Also I liked this book because it had a lot of quizzes and I liked that because I got to ask questions about what they would rather do.

  3. I didn't really enjoy this book because it summed up the explorations too fast for my comfort level. I prefer longer explanations about what happened/is happening in the world. This book, although it thoroughly explained the situations, the text was too uncomfortably big. It made the book hard to read. Other than that, the book was quite enjoyable.

  4. I really injoyed this book because it had alot of interesting facts of explorers that i knew , although after reading this book I understand what they were thinking and feeling . Also , i really liked the fact that their were lots of pictures because it some parts it was not getting interesting but when i looked at the pictures I felt more into it . Therefore this book was very interesting and I am more interested in books like this than i was before .

  5. I just started reading this book a couple days ago but so far I think it is very educational but very interesting at the same time. There is a lot of detail in this book that I found very helpful to better understand the book. Some parts of this book were a little violent but still very educational.

  6. I found this book very factural but sort of boring. Now I know alot about explorers. I also really liked how the book was formatted because there were pictures and that helped me understand more about that topic.
